Now in its 9th prestigious edition, the Gary B. Born Essay Competition — named after the world’s foremost international arbitration expert — is back, organised by CARTAL at NLU Jodhpur. Open to undergraduate and postgraduate law students globally, participants can choose from three cutting-edge themes: The Reconfiguration of Party Autonomy in International Arbitration, Examining the Scope of Interim Reliefs in Arbitral Proceedings, or Arbitrability of Public–Private Partnership Disputes. Winning essays may be published in the Indian Journal of Arbitration Law (IJAL) — making this an exceptional résumé credential for any student aspiring to a career in dispute resolution.
