The Opportunity
We’re seeking a driven, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Alternative Investment Fund platform. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, analyzing, and executing pre-IPO and growth-stage investment opportunities across sectors.
This is not a back-office role—you’ll work directly with the investment team across the entire investment lifecycle, from thesis development through portfolio monitoring and investor relations. You’ll contribute meaningfully to the fund’s investment strategy and execution capabilities.

What You’ll Do
Investment Research & Analysis

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and analyze investment opportunities aligned with the fund’s investment thesis
Perform deep industry analysis to identify emerging trends, high-potential sectors, and markets that fit our strategy
Prepare financial modelling, valuation analysis, and risk assessments to support critical investment decisions
Monitor and analyze competitor performance, strategies, and market positioning to inform deal sourcing

Due Diligence & Transaction Evaluation

Lead preliminary due diligence on potential investment opportunities
Review and analyze financial statements, business models, and operational metrics
Identify key risks and opportunities through structured analytical frameworks
Prepare detailed investment notes, reports, and presentations summarizing findings for investment managers and fund stakeholders

Portfolio & Investor Support

Monitor portfolio performance post-investment and provide rebalancing recommendations
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across portfolio companies
Support investor relations by preparing marketing decks for potential investors
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing investors through regular updates and engagement

Strategic Collaboration

Work closely with investment managers to develop and refine the fund’s overall investment strategy
Contribute ideas and insights that shape deal flow and investment decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the NovaaOne ecosystem

About You
Essential Qualifications

2–3 years of investment analysis, private equity, venture capital, or alternative asset management experience
CA (Chartered Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or MBA (Finance) — OR a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with equivalent professional experience

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex financial modelling, data analysis)
Strong skills in Word and PowerPoint for presentation and reporting
Knowledge of financial modelling tools and valuation methodologies
Understanding of financial markets, investment products, and alternative investments (AIFs, pre-IPO deals, growth equity)
